Teen Bedroom Future Flex Room
Vision
Senior Designer Tori Ayers from our Tampa location was called out to condo owner Andy’s home to create a wall bed in his teen’s bedroom that would become a combination guest room, workout room, and their cat’s favorite hangout.
Challenge
Andy’s son would soon leave for college. Since space is a premium in this two-bedroom condo the room would be turned into a space for guests, a workout room, and very possibly a home office. Not to mention the cat had taken a special liking to the space.
Solution
Tori had the challenge to make the space inviting while Andy’s son lived at home yet easily adaptable for his departure. Tall cabinets created a wardrobe storage area that later could be used for storage, leaving space for guests to hang. Most importantly, the wall bed allowed the floor space to be freed up for exercise and possible expansion to the home office when the time was right.
